As a seasoned Dynamics 365 Commerce Functional Consultant, you will collaborate with clients and technical teams to implement large-scale retail projects. This role requires strong client interaction skills, stakeholder management expertise, and the ability to manage requirements, scope, and risks effectively.

The successful candidate will have at least 5-7 years of experience as a Functional Consultant in Dynamics 365/Retail modules, specifically in Retail modules, with at least 3 years in Dynamics 365 Commerce. Hands-on experience in Retail/Commerce and e-Commerce industries, understanding ERP value flows and retail industry specifics, is also essential.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan, configure, and implement D365 Commerce solutions for clients
  • Develop solutions based on knowledge of business processes and D365 Commerce
  • Create detailed business process walkthroughs, functional requirements, and design documents
  • Serve as primary interface between clients and development & quality engineering teams, providing clarifications and ensuring effective project workflow setup and execution
  • Perform thorough user acceptance testing of system functionalities and business processes
  • Contribute to team discussions with strong communication skills and participate in setting up project workflows
  • Manage client relationships as primary responsibility, planning, prioritizing, and developing project plans to meet client needs

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Functional Consultant in Dynamics 365/Retail modules, specifically in Retail modules, with at least 3 years in Dynamics 365 Commerce
  • Experience in at least two full lifecycle implementations of D365 Commerce/Ax 2012 Retail
  • Hands-on experience in Retail/Commerce and e-Commerce industries, understanding ERP value flows and retail industry specifics
  • Strong client interaction skills and stakeholder management expertise
  • Able to manage requirements, scope, and risks effectively
  • Experience with rollouts, deployments, upgrades, store setups, and migrations in fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with code/fix deployment to MPOS and CPOS, and troubleshooting POS hardware setups
  • Good understanding of Finance & SCM domains
  • Ability to create test artifacts for module testing and ensure seamless onboarding and post-onboarding support
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Azure and ERP/business system integrations
  • Familiarity with Project Management principles
  • Basic SQL query writing skills
  • Possession of Dynamics 365 Retail/Commerce certifications
