Job Overview

This role is focused on managing debtor accounts to ensure timely payments. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounts & Finance, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The job holder will be responsible for monitoring customer accounts, maintaining accurate records, and chasing outstanding payments through calls, emails, and letters. They will also assess the creditworthiness of potential customers, approve or reject credit applications, and prepare regular reports on accounts receivable and cash flow forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Debt Management: Monitor customer accounts to prevent delinquencies and maintain up-to-date records of all debtor accounts.
  • Credit Assessment: Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers using financial data, credit reports, and other sources to inform lending decisions.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable, outstanding debts, and cash flow forecasts to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications: Minimum degree in Accounts & Finance.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
