Job Title: Deputy Chief Manager Bills Payable/Payroll

This is a senior management position responsible for overseeing the bills payable and payroll functions within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise the validation, monitoring, clearing, and approval of invoices for new service connections, town bills, contract labor payments, and other expenses.
  2. Perform recalculation of payment vouchers, including calculation of sales tax, withholding tax, liquidated damages, and other deductions or adjustments.
  3. Oversee the processing of approved invoices for medical bills related to retainer doctors, chemists, hospitals, and laboratories.
  4. Monitor and record medical reimbursements and deductions from salaries of executives and staff.
  5. Supervise the scrutiny, validation, monitoring, and adjusting of cash imprest advances against approved limits for all zones and sub-zones.
  6. Process and validate approved invoices for road restoration and rent of rented premises.
  7. Supervise the processing of approved invoices for transport bills, petrol, diesel, and CNG, and repair maintenance of vehicles.
  8. Scrutinize all petrol, diesel, and CNG rates from official sources.
  9. Prepare and send monthly MIS reports on GST, WHT, and SST to the head office's tax section.
  10. Oversee payroll-related activities at the Hyderabad location.
  11. Act as signatory for company cheques.
  12. Handle internal and external audit queries.
  13. Resolve employee queries and issues in a timely manner.
  14. Coordinate with senior management, regional managers, and heads of departments to resolve issues relating to approved budgets and payments.

Qualifications and Experience:

A bachelor's or master's degree in finance/commerce with at least 10 years of experience in bills and accounts sections of oil and gas sector entities.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
