Job Title: Synchronization Expert

We are seeking an experienced Synchronization Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for real-time monitoring, control, and synchronization of multiple power sources including generators, utility grid, and renewable sources.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Operating and monitoring the power plant systems from the central control room.
  • Synchronizing generators with each other and with utility/grid supply using DEIF, Deep Sea, or similar synchronizing controllers.
  • Executing startup, load sharing, shutdown, and changeover procedures as per operational protocols.
  • Monitoring system parameters such as voltage, frequency, phase angle, load, power factor, etc.
  • Responding to alarms, faults, and abnormal operating conditions immediately and escalating when needed.
  • Recording and logging operational data accurately on shift logs and software systems.
  • Coordinating with electrical and maintenance teams for routine and emergency operations.
  • Performing system checks and supporting preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role at a power plant or industrial facility.
  • Hands-on experience with DEIF AGC controllers, Deep Sea (DSE 8610/8620/8660), or similar synchronizing systems.
  • Strong understanding of generator synchronization principles, load sharing, and protection systems.
  • Familiarity with control panels, SCADA interfaces, AMF/ATS systems.
  • Other Skills: Strong troubleshooting ability, communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work in shifts.
