As a Synchronization Expert, you will play a crucial role in the Power Plant operations.

About the Job
  • You will be responsible for real-time monitoring, control, and synchronization of multiple power sources including generators, utility grid, and renewable sources.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor the power plant systems from the central control room.
  • Synchronize generators with each other and with utility/grid supply using DEIF controllers.
  • Execute startup, load sharing, shutdown, and changeover procedures as per operational protocols.
  • Monitor system parameters such as voltage, frequency, phase angle, load, power factor, etc.
  • Respond to alarms, faults, and abnormal operating conditions immediately and escalate when needed.
  • Record and log operational data accurately on shift logs and software systems.
  • Coordinate with electrical and maintenance teams for routine and emergency operations.
  • Perform system checks and support preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or B.Tech. in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in similar role at a power plant or industrial facility.
  • Hands-on experience with DEIF AGC controllers or similar synchronizing systems.
  • Strong understanding of generator synchronization principles, load sharing, and protection systems.
  • Familiarity with control panels, SCADA interfaces, AMF/ATS systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability, communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Will to work in shifts including nights and weekends as per rotation.
