Job Title: Senior Contracts Manager

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Manager to join our team. As a Senior Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing and managing contracts related to high-rise building projects and infrastructure & utilities projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Contract Review and Management:

We are looking for a candidate who can review and manage complex contracts, ensuring that they meet the client's requirements and contractual obligations.

Site Visits and Record Keeping:

The ideal candidate will conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and maintain accurate records of all interactions.

Communication and Negotiation:

A strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills is required to effectively collaborate with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.

Claims and Variations Management:

You will be responsible for processing claims and variations, ensuring that they are handled in accordance with contractual agreements.

Contractual Obligations:

The successful candidate will identify and advise on contractual implications that may impact the client's interests.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education:

Candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University, with valid Professional membership of PEC and/or International equivalent membership.

Experience:

A minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience in administrating, managing, and handling complex contracts is required.

Knowledge and Skills:

Candidate should have extensive knowledge of contract law and commercial practice, including indemnities, insurance, guarantees, warranties, and liquidated damages.

Soft Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to lead issues and obtain resolutions to problems, decisive and confident.
