Email Marketing Specialist Job Description

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Email Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing email marketing campaigns that engage our audience, promote our brand, and drive conversions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and execute effective email marketing campaigns in coordination with the marketing and content teams.
  • Develop and manage email marketing calendars, ensuring timely deployment of newsletters, product announcements, and promotional campaigns.
  • Segment email lists and create targeted campaigns based on customer behavior and demographics.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions, etc.) and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure all email content aligns with brand guidelines, voice, and tone.
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to create engaging email templates and visual assets.
  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, layouts, and send times to optimize campaign performance.
  • Maintain and grow email subscriber lists while ensuring compliance with data protection and anti-spam regulations.
  • Report on campaign performance to key stakeholders and recommend data-driven strategies for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Email Marketing Specialist or in a similar digital marketing role, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, KPIs, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent written communication and content creation skills.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact, Sendinblue).
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and drawing actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with design principles and working with creative teams.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM tools is a plus.
