Job Description

To execute assigned flights in accordance with the detailed provisions of Company Operational Manual and in compliance with CAA related regulations.

The successful candidate must ensure ultimate safety, security, and efficiency are achieved throughout all operated flights; supports and guides the flight/cabin crew, handles emergencies and ad-hoc scenarios effectively, and takes control over the flight to ensure successful performance and positive corporate image.

A key aspect of this role is flying the aircraft from one destination to another in accordance with given schedules and approved flight plans; carrying out duties and acting as the ultimate responsible for the aircraft during the assigned flights taking into account key factors, in order of priority: Safety, Efficiency & Passenger comfort

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2000 hours PIC experience.
  • Minimum 800 hours PIC on A320 family.
  • Minimum 5000 hours total flying experience.
  • Trainers with TRE/ TRI/ LTC experience will be given preference.
  • Valid licenses, valid Class 1 medical and Valid IR.
  • Valid English Language Proficiency (ELP) certification. Above level 4
  • Appropriate CPL/ATPL license.
  • Pass the technical & psychometric assessment, and Medical Fitness Check up for Pilots as per Company/CAA standards.
  • Training in safety and emergency response is essential – a formal qualification is an advantage.
  • Crew Resources Management Training is considered an advantage.
  • IATA principles & standards relating to security is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Aircraft systems, proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet and Web Search, Technical reports writing, presentations, etc
  • Experience with low cost airline is highly desirable but not mandatory.
