Quality Assurance Engineering Role

The ideal candidate for this quality assurance engineering position will have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and practical experience with different quality assurance methods, testing tools, and CMMI/ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality documentation for internal and external projects, including requirements, design, test plans, and user manuals.
  • Actively follow and report on test plans to team leads, ensuring that all issues are identified and rectified in a timely manner.
  • Train the QA team on creating and performing automated test cases, ensuring that processes are documented and followed consistently.
  • Proactively track system flows and identify issues/flaws, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and document processes, ensuring compliance with ISO and CMMI standards.
  • Ensure that delivered products meet business goals and performance parameters.
  • Pursue alignment of company procedures and policies with industry standards, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that every build is bug-free, or that bugs are reported and deployment is approved by management, while maintaining accurate code versioning records.
  • Identify and train team members on internet-based communication tools, fostering effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of SDLC principles and methodologies.
  • Practical experience with various quality assurance methods and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of CMMI and ISO standards, with a focus on process improvement and compliance.
  • Proficiency in using different testing tools and automation frameworks.
  • Ability to develop and maintain automated test cases, ensuring efficient testing and validation.
  • Familiarity with UML modeling and structured problem-solving techniques.
  • A perfectionist mindset, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • A structured approach to work, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
