
Senior Associate, Growth Strategist

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Strategy practice, where you will lead enterprise-wide strategy and performance improvement engagements for private equity clients. Your responsibilities will include managing the process from start to finish, setting scopes, budgets, staffing resources, creating, and coordinating final deliverables, and assisting with the presentation of results.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic initiatives that drive business growth and improve performance for private equity clients, developing and implementing strategic roadmaps that align with their goals and objectives.
- Establish key client relationships, working closely with engagement partners, managing directors, or directors to build trust and confidence with clients, particularly those in private equity firms and their portfolios.
- Manage project teams effectively, ensuring successful problem formulation, comprehensive analysis, and problem resolution, while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
- Develop and articulate client value propositions that tie key strategic, financial, and operational metrics directly to business improvement, driving revenue growth and profitability.
- Participate in professional development of more junior team members, assisting with recruiting and training new staff, while staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of recent consulting experience in a client-facing strategy discipline at a major strategy firm, boutique strategy firm, or Big 4 firm with a strong focus on private equity.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree in Business Administration from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Proven experience in articulating and advising on strategic issues in several business areas, including value creation, growth strategy, product innovation, business model transformations, operating model and profitability improvement, data monetization, and strategic planning, with experience leading and managing consulting teams.
- Excellent foundational consulting skills, including strong interpersonal and presentation skills, deep strategic business acumen, and well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to understand how business model decisions impact operating model design and execution across operations, technology, and organizational design.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $187,600 per year, depending on location and experience.
