Job Description

The Category Growth Strategist plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and profitability by leading product category strategy. This includes managing the full product lifecycle, including pricing and margin optimization at SKU level.

This position ensures a consumer-centric approach in category planning and works closely with marketing, supply chain, and sales to translate product strategy into business results.

  • Lead category revenue, profitability, and inventory performance by developing accurate demand forecasts by SKU and working with supply chain to ensure ideal inventory cover.
  • Shape the product category portfolio through data-backed new product development, SKU rationalization, and phase-out plans aligned with consumer trends and business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive visibility and liquidation of slow-moving and phased-out inventory.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in category management, product management, or brand management.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful category strategies leading to significant revenue growth.
