System Administrator Specialist

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage our server infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and performance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain server systems, including hardware, software, and network configurations
  • Perform regular system backups and recovery operations to safeguard data integrity
  • Implement and manage security measures to protect systems from unauthorized access and vulnerabilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across the organization
  • Optimize system performance through monitoring and regular maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures and assess systems for compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with development teams to support application deployments and system integrations
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices for team knowledge sharing

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in system administration or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
  • Familiarity with network protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Linux+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus
