System Administrator Specialist

Devsinc is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated System Administrator Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing server infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our systems, and providing support for various IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage, monitor, and maintain server systems, including hardware, software, and network configurations
  2. Perform regular system backups and recovery operations to safeguard data integrity
  3. Implement and manage security measures to protect systems from unauthorized access and vulnerabilities
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across the organization
  5. Optimize system performance through monitoring and regular maintenance
  6. Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures and assess systems for compliance with industry standards
  7. Collaborate with development teams to support application deployments and system integrations
  8. Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices for team knowledge sharing
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in system administration or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
  • Familiarity with network protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Linux+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus
