The Recovery Officer is a critical position within our organization responsible for the timely and efficient recovery of outstanding debts from customers. This encompasses achieving monthly targets, adhering to regulatory guidelines and key performance indicators (KPIs), and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct recovery activities through assigned accounts to ensure prompt collection of outstanding debts.
- Meet or exceed monthly targets while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and updates in our system.
- Effectively communicate with customers via recorded lines and Q-cards to resolve queries and address complaints.
- Escalate customer issues to supervisors using the established escalation matrix.
- Forward accounts to litigation when negotiations are unlikely to succeed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the recovery process.
- Seek guidance from seniors when required and perform additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
As a Recovery Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth while fostering excellent customer relationships. Your ability to work efficiently, communicate effectively, and maintain high levels of professionalism will be essential in achieving our business objectives.
