Warehouse Manager

Job Title: Warehouse Officer - Finished Goods

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the finished goods warehouse, ensuring timely receipt and dispatch of materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and enforcing safety protocols.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Receipt and Storage: Receive and store goods from production in a timely manner, following storage protocols and recording activities in SAP.
• Autorization Slips: Handle material authorization slips for contractors, ensuring seamless operations.
• Warehouse Operations: Oversee daily warehouse activities, adhering to safety and security measures.
• Safety Precautions: Safeguard storage areas from adverse weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
• Order Fulfillment: Execute delivery and fulfillment processes to meet customer satisfaction and Perfect Order targets.
• Dispatch Quality: Enhance dispatch quality by reducing customer complaints, particularly for food-grade dispatches.
• Inbound and Outbound Logistics: Manage logistics following FIFO/FEFO principles to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintaining Equipment: Ensure continuous operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to prevent delays.
• Liaison with Service Providers: Collaborate closely with MHE service providers to maintain operational equipment.
• Special Stock Management: Maintain separate storage for block and off-code stocks, coordinating with production for timely reprocessing or write-off.
• Collaboration with Production: Work effectively with the production team to optimize storage space management.
• Audits: Actively participate in internal and external audits conducted by customers or third parties.
• Emergency Response: Effectively manage emergency situations, especially during changing weather conditions.
• Environment Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse environment meets food and pharma-grade Quality Management Systems standards.
• Inventory Matching: Maintain physical inventory in sync with SAP records through regular counts.
• Adjustments Coordination: Collaborate with order processing and inventory controllers to make necessary adjustments.
• Pest Control: Participate in Integrated Pest Management activities to protect the integrity of finished goods.

• Reports Generation: Regularly create and update reports and statistics to track warehouse activities.
• Logistics Optimization: Improve logistics management to enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Warehouse Upkeep: Design and implement layout improvements, conduct equipment inspections, and manage repair and maintenance requests to ensure the warehouse is in optimal condition.
• Hazard Identification: Proactively spot, report, and address workplace hazards, safety risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Operational Excellence: Strive continuously for excellence in operations while maintaining Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
• Special Projects: Lead and successfully complete special projects assigned by supervisors or management.
• Workforce Deployment: Allocate workforce effectively to meet organizational goals and ensure efficient staff scheduling.
• KPI Monitoring: Track key performance indicators to evaluate and improve team performance.

• Decision-Making: Make timely decisions to optimize staff productivity and job execution.
• Collaboration with Contractors: Work closely with third-party contractors to ensure efficient task execution.
• Team Problem-Solving: Facilitate problem-solving by actively involving teammates in discussions and seeking their input.
• Performance Management:

This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate should have experience in stores & inventory management, proficiency in using SAP or similar ERP systems, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
