Job Overview:

The Deputy Director Marketing - Brands & Media role is a high-level leadership position that requires a visionary leader to drive brand equity, media planning and buying, and out-of-home activations.

This role demands an expert in managing and enhancing brand reputation through cohesive communication across all touchpoints.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and be able to link brand strategy with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brands Management
    • Drive demand generation for products, offers, and services through effective communication.
    • Align brand strategy with commercial objectives to position Zong as a leader in digital transformation.
    • Establish Zong's brand as extraordinary in the industry, leveraging its connection with China Mobile.
    • Oversee product communication, ensuring alignment with business objectives and quality standards.
    • Manage relationships with advertising agencies.
    • Strengthen brand equity across customer touchpoints.
  • Media Planning & Buying
    • Develop effective media strategies aligned with long-term brand objectives.
    • Propose, manage, and evaluate thematic and tactical media plans.
    • Negotiate and acquire media properties at best rates.
    • Monitor and reconcile planned versus actual airtime.
  • Marketing Operations
    • Oversee OOH media planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
    • Manage vendor and agency contracts related to OOH and activation activities.
    • Plan and execute brand activations.
    • Evaluate sponsorships and events.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or above.
