Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software and web applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and software applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
  • Design and implement automation frameworks and scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and work with developers to resolve defects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, strategies, and tools to enhance product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software and web application testing.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
