Duties and Responsibilities
  • We are seeking an experienced professional to ensure the correct operation of Cathodic Protection (CP) stations, undertake necessary maintenance, and maintain accurate records.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing enterprise asset management programs to prevent pipeline corrosion.
  • They will conduct surveys and assess pipeline integrity, including bi-annual pipe-to-soil potential, DCVG, CIPS, etc.
  • The role involves coordinating with service providers/vendors for coating rehabilitation and corrosion monitoring plans.
  • We require someone to design and arrange Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) for new pipelines, monitor Ground Bed activities, and perform field tests.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to diagnose system issues, conduct interference testing, and prepare reports on recoating based on survey results.
  • Assistance in pipeline design, installation, and post-installation surveys, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, is also required.
  • The selected candidate will provide training on corrosion control best practices.
  • Additionally, they will identify, assess, and manage risks, develop response strategies, and monitor them.
Requirements
  • A degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Metallurgy Engineering from a recognized university with at least 6 years of experience in pipeline integrity management and Cathodic protection, or a Master's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
  • PEC registration is mandatory. Certification of AMPP(NACE), API, or TWI for Cathodic Protection/Coating Inspection is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas / Public Sector is preferred.
