B.E. or B.Sc. (16 years) with at least 6 years or Master's (18 years) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience primarily in pipeline integrity management and Cathodic protection. Degree preferably in Metallurgy, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from HEC recognized university. Experience in Oil & Gas / Public Sector is preferred.

PEC registration is mandatory. Certification of AMPP(NACE), API, or TWI for Cathodic Protection/Coating Inspection is mandatory.

The position involves ensuring asset protection, conducting detailed inspections at CCT stations, test points, pipeline projects, and documenting findings.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure CCT stations operate correctly and undertake maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain maintenance records.
  • Implement and oversee enterprise asset management programs.
  • Review coating and wrapping conditions to prevent pipeline corrosion.
  • Conduct surveys (bi-annual pipe-to-soil potential, DCVG, CIPS, etc.) and assess pipeline integrity.
  • Coordinate with service providers/vendors.
  • Develop coating rehabilitation and corrosion monitoring plans.
  • Design and arrange FEED for new pipelines.
  • Monitor and renew Ground Bed activities.
  • Perform field tests and plan recoating based on survey results.
  • Diagnose system issues, conduct interference testing, and prepare reports.
  • Assist in pipeline design, installation, and post-installation surveys.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Provide training on corrosion control.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks, develop response strategies, and monitor them.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
