Job Title: Agile Team Facilitator

The Role: In this position, you will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals in supporting critical technology systems and guiding business partners and end users with best practices, solution design, and delivering long-term value to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as a Servant leader to an Agile team.
  2. Educate Agile teams on efficient workflows and performance from Scaled Agile practices and values.
  3. Coach Agile teams in self-organization and continuous improvement.
  4. Guide the Agile teams to consistently deliver customer value.
  5. Manage risks, mitigate impediments, and negotiate dependencies within and across Agile teams.
  6. Facilitate Scrum events including Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Refinement sessions, Iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  7. Work with Product Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, prioritized, and understood by every member of the Agile team.
  8. Establish and maintain open and clear lines of team communication to facilitate progress transparency.
  9. Collaborate with peer Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and Agile Coaches to increase the effectiveness of Scaled Agile.

  • Ability to develop and foster teamwork.
  • Emotional intelligence, level-headed diplomat, skilled listener, and clear communicator with strong empathy traits.
  • Ability to facilitate constructive debate and resolve disagreements and conflicts constructively.
  • Deliver hands-on training and coaching of defined Agile practices to individual teams and programs.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and cross-regionally across multiple Product portfolios.
  • Understanding of other engineering processes and methodologies.
