Corporate Tax Professional

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of tax law and regulations, with the ability to analyze and communicate complex tax issues clearly.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare draft versions of corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
  • Tax Research & Compliance: Conduct research on federal, state, and local tax regulations, including specific knowledge of UAW and CT state law (if applicable), to ensure compliance with changing tax rules.
  • Document Drafting & Review: Draft supporting documentation for tax filings, ensuring all information is accurately and thoroughly presented.
  • Collaboration: Work with senior tax professionals, accounting, and other teams to ensure tax compliance, and help identify opportunities for tax planning and risk management.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of tax processes and workflows.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation, compliance, and provisions, with a focus on corporate taxation.
    • Solid understanding of tax provisions and experience preparing corporate tax returns (federal, state, and local).
    • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
