Linux System Administrator Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Linux system administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing our Linux servers and network infrastructure with a focus on performance, automation, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian) to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • System Updates and Maintenance: Perform regular system updates, kernel tuning, patching, and maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation.
  • Automation and Scripting: Automate system administration using shell scripts and scripting languages to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Storage Management: Manage and optimize storage using LVM, RAID, NFS, and ext4/xfs file systems to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Network Configuration: Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and VPN devices to ensure secure and reliable network connectivity.
  • Security Measures: Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and network security policies to protect against threats and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Linux system and network administration.
  • Skills: Proficiency in shell scripting and automation, strong understanding of storage systems and file system management, solid knowledge of networking concepts and security protocols.
  • Additional Requirements: Experience with enterprise firewall and IDS/IPS systems, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
