Electrical Supervisor Job Opportunity

The role of Electrical Supervisor is a vital position in ensuring the efficient functioning of electrical systems within housing schemes and high-rise buildings. This individual will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, electrical panels, and emergency systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems to ensure their efficient operation.
  • Commissioning and testing newly installed electrical systems to guarantee they are fully operational.
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify and resolve electrical faults promptly.
  • Ensuring all electrical work complies with local building codes, electrical safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Planning and implementing preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems to avoid system failures and downtime.
  • Maintaining accurate records of electrical installations, maintenance schedules, system performance, and parts inventory.
  • Managing and supervising a team of electrical technicians to ensure high standards are met.
  • Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and vendors for procurement and specialized electrical services.
  • Assisting in preparing budgets for electrical projects, maintenance, and spare parts procurement.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols to prevent electrical hazards and accidents in the workplace.
  • Responding to electrical emergencies and repairs as required.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical supervision, preferably in housing schemes, infrastructure, or real estate projects.
  • Expertise in electrical systems, power distribution, lighting systems, and emergency electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
