Accountant Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

You will also manage and process payrolls for Germany and other European markets, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial data.

Additionally, you will handle tax calculations and compliance with German/European payroll regulations, review and verify invoices and salary statements, and ensure accurate payments and correct billing to clients.

Moreover, you will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to reconcile financial data, and support audits and provide financial analysis as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and international accounting standards.
  • Experience managing payrolls in Germany/European markets.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work according to European working hours.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
  • 3+ years of working experience.
