Job Description

The purpose of this role is to drive process improvement initiatives, including mapping current processes, identifying gaps, and designing new or improved processes.

  • Coordinates with departmental heads to organize process mapping for improvement purposes.
  • Provides guidance on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and facilitates the first line of defense in identifying, assessing, evaluating, categorizing, prioritizing, monitoring, and controlling significant risks facing the entity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develops methodologies and guides for identifying and assessing risk and determines the adequacy and cost-effectiveness of controls.
  2. Evaluates processes, systems, procedures, and data management capabilities to support the enterprise-wide ERM framework.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sound knowledge in Risk Management for Financial matters and good understanding of IFRS, relevant laws, rules & regulations, SECP, Industry, Public Sector Procurement Rules, and corporate governance rules.
  • Familiarity with Best Practices in Risk Management, COSO framework, and ISO 31000.
  • Awareness of Oracle Applications, CC&B, GIS systems preferable.
