Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounts payable, general ledger management, project accounting, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and supervise the accounts payable department and staff to ensure efficient and timely processing of financial transactions.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and general ledger entries.
  3. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to financial operations.
  4. Oversee all tax-related processes, including withholding and clearing of tax GLs in software.
  5. Monitor and report on financial expenditures, maintaining a database of financial information as requested by supervisors.
  6. Coordinate and manage payment transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  7. Track and maintain records of all financial transactions, both internal and external, to ensure compliance with policies and SOPs.
  8. Standardize financial procedures to improve efficiency and create templates for use by the company.
  9. Provide excellent customer service, communicating quickly and accurately with stakeholders.
  10. Minimize payable aging by improving systems and ensuring compliance with policies and SOPs.
  11. Minimize advances in aging by ensuring timely submission of bills of adjustment following internal audits.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in financial operations, including accounts payable and general ledger management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of financial software and systems, including tax GLs in software.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
