Commercial Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Commercial Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day commercial operations of the organization. This includes managing departmental teams, coordinating with principals, and ensuring compliance with import and export policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage departmental teams and ensure effective coordination among team members.
  • Coordinate with principals to prepare documentation for the import of products and negotiate quotes from freight forwarding agents.
  • Monitor import and export policies and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintain an updated list of product pricing from all principals and update the purchasing register accordingly.
  • Track import consignments and coordinate shipping with freight forwarding agents to ensure timely clearance.
  • Handle claims with insurance companies and manage the complete export process.
  • Ensure that all transactions are properly recorded and updated in the database.
  • Prepare sales/service contracts for orders obtained under the direct supervision of the Director.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or management. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong understanding of commercial operations and logistics.
