Database Operations Specialist

The primary focus of this position is on database planning, installation, maintenance, and operations. Our team requires a highly skilled individual to work on deploying new technologies, ensuring database availability 24/7, and maintaining databases in an optimal state.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and maintain high-performance database servers.
- Develop and implement processes for securing databases effectively.
- Establish and enforce database standards.
- Perform regular performance tuning of database systems.
- Manage the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of database applications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex database errors.
- Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
- Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
- Automate repetitive database tasks.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
- Improve database processes through automation and industry best practices.
- Meet service level agreements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with three to six years of experience in database administration, information technology, or a related field. Proficiency in Linux, HP-UX, Solaris, and Windows Server environments is essential.
