Job Overview

The Database Administrator/Manager will provide around-the-clock support for production database servers, implementing and supporting SQL clusters in active/active and active passive configurations. Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining Log Shipping, transactional replication, and automation of administrative tasks using T-SQL scripts/SQL Agent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain SQL Security administration on both 2000 and 2005 security models.
  • Collaborate with developers to enhance underperforming stored procedures.
  • Perform ongoing performance monitoring and troubleshooting utilizing native Microsoft tools (sysmon, Profiler, SQLDiag etc).
