Database Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing databases that meet the needs of our organization. You will also generate business-critical reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.">
We accomplish this by creating outstanding database systems that provide insights into our business operations.
">Your Role
As a skilled Database Engineer, you will be responsible for:- Designing and implementing relational and non-relational databases
- Writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support data extraction and transformation
- Developing, scheduling, and automating recurring and ad hoc reports using Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, or similar tools
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Monitoring database performance and implementing tuning solutions to improve efficiency
- Ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
- Assisting in data migration, backup, and disaster recovery strategies
- Participating in code reviews, deployment processes, and documentation efforts
- Working closely with data analysts, software engineers, and QA teams.

">Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have:- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience as a Database Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong proficiency inSQL(PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle)
- Hands-on experience withreporting and visualization toolslikePower BI, SSRS, Tableau, or Looker
- Familiarity withETL processesand data warehousing concepts
- Experience withperformance tuning and query optimization
- Knowledge of data security and compliance standards
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Shell, or similar (preferred)
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
