The ART Accountant handles expense accounting for SARM and Manufacturing Overhead, ensuring the integrity and reliability of financial data in SAP and GCAP. This involves working closely with a team of accountants, interacting with various stakeholders, and requiring in-depth knowledge of SAP FI/CO/MM modules and GCAP.
This role ensures timely delivery of all planned activities, including end-to-end month-end closing activities, cost center cycle run, plant closing, and cash flow reports. The ART Accountant must maintain general ledgers, perform complete accounting cycles in line with US GAAP, and reconcile SAP and GCAP balances monthly.
Main Responsibilities:- Create and modify master data for cost centers, cycles, and assessment cycles as per business needs.
- Perform end-to-end month-end closing activities, including cost center cycle run and plant closing.
- Update plan data in SAP based on provided data.
- Generate reports comparing plan vs. actual for various functions.
- Prepare monthly MIS, variance analysis, and financial performance reports.
- Develop trend and flux analysis reports for 10K/10Q filings.
- Implement process improvements for cost center accounting and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX legislation.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Advanced SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Strong technical understanding of accounting principles.
- Proven ability to drive results.
