Financial Reporting Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in financial reporting and analysis, while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for the preparation of primary financial statements and related notes in accordance with accounting and regulatory disclosure requirements. This involves working closely with partner sites to ensure timely and effective delivery of results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing financial statements (annual and interim) and all related notes in accordance with accounting and regulatory disclosure requirements.
  • Reviewing financial statements from a numbers perspective and ensuring quality, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Liaising with partner sites to communicate status effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Interacting with stakeholders to respond to any accounting or financial reporting-related queries that may arise.

The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, analytical review capabilities, and excellent communication skills. You will also have knowledge of primary GAAPs, including Irish/UK, IFRS, and US GAAP. Additionally, you should be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and implement change initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in a Financial Reporting or Audit environment in the Funds industry.
  • Post graduate/CA/CPA with major in Finance/Accounting is an added value.
  • Strong team player with ability to build key internal relationships across locations.
  • Very strong attention to detail in review of documents and analytical review capabilities.
  • Knowledge of all primary GAAPs – Irish/UK, IFRS, US GAAP.
