Lead Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Development Engineer to lead our web application development lifecycle, from concept to delivery and post-launch support.

Responsibilities:

">
  • Design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge, web-based applications using PHP and the Laravel Framework.">
  • Collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team to build innovative, state-of-the-art applications.">
  • Utilize backend data services and enhance existing API data services to deliver high-quality solutions.">
  • Lead and mentor the application development team, ensuring alignment with project goals and company standards.">
  • Assign tasks, manage workloads, and ensure efficient collaboration within the team.">
  • Provide guidance and technical support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.">
  • Prepare and maintain all applications using standard development tools and methodologies.">
  • Document the development process, architecture, and standard components to ensure clarity and maintainability.">
  • Coordinate effectively with co-developers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth progress on projects.">
  • Keep the Project Manager well-informed of the development status, including task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules, and any technical or process-related issues.">
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and processes.">
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in web development.">
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, debugging, and support for delivered applications to ensure optimal performance.">
  • Participate in the strategic planning of web application initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.">
  • Evaluate team performance and identify opportunities for skill development and growth.">

Qualifications and Experience Required:

">
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.">
  • At least 5 years of experience using PHP-Laravel.">
  • At least 2 years of experience with Vue.js.">
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Team Lead.">
  • Proficiency in Serverless technology like AWS.">
  • Proficiency in Docker.">
  • Experience leading a Tech Team.">
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Scrum, Sprint Designing, etc.">
  • Prior experience in a product-based company is a plus.">

Skillset:

  • In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming.">
  • Hands-on experience with MySQL schema design, Solid principles, and REST API design.">
  • Software testing.">
  • MySQL profiling and query optimization.">
  • Creative and efficient problem solver.">
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.">
  • Familiarity with WebSocket.">
  • Data mining, analysis, and custom reports generation based on requirements.">
