Job Description

The role of a banking operations professional involves ensuring the smooth processing of all functions related to general banking activities.

This includes customers' transactions in accordance with the Bank's policies and procedures.

  • Ensuring the processing of transactions is accurate and efficient
  • Assisting customers with routine account related requests such as stop payments, updating of customer details, removal of dormancy etc.
  • Recording denominations for all cash transactions, and requesting additional cash as and when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Key skills required include:

  • Numerical and financial analysis skills
  • Understanding of financial services, banking products and banking operations
  • Good understanding of AML/KYC
  • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Communication, Conflict Management and Customer Service Skills
  • Knowledge and experience of Islamic Banking

Applicants must have a strong educational background in business or commerce, preferably with a bachelor's degree.
