To excel as an aircraft maintenance professional, you will maintain and repair Company and third-party aircraft in accordance with approved schedules and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  1. You will carry out routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on aircraft within the scope of your approval (including airframe and avionics) as applicable.
  2. Non-routine maintenance tasks include performing repairs and modifications to aircraft components, inspecting and testing equipment, and conducting safety checks.
  3. You must ensure that all maintenance work is completed efficiently and effectively, with minimal disruption to flight schedules.
  4. This may involve accompanying aircraft to perform maintenance tasks or traveling to recover aircraft in case of an emergency.
  5. Your responsibilities also extend to maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the upkeep of bonded stores and office areas.
  6. Furthermore, you will be responsible for keeping technical publications up-to-date and ensuring that the station's 'impress' system is accurate and complete.
  7. A key aspect of this role is communicating effectively with Maintenance Control Centre regarding aircraft departures, delays, defect rectification, and other technical issues.
  8. You may also be required to deputize for the Station Engineer when necessary.
Requirements

You should have at least five years of experience in aircraft maintenance, including three years as a certifying engineer.

Qualifications

An Aircraft Engineer License recognized by the Authority and Gulf Air Technical Quality Department is essential, along with experience on at least one aircraft type.
