Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination of HEC Competitions: Ensuring LUMS Teams' participation through seamless communication, coordination, and planning.
- Event Management: Supervising and assisting with competition setups, major sports events like O Week Gala, NOP Gala, LUMS Sports Fest, and Spring Fest.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed records of internal and external events.
- Social Media and Digital Presence: Creating and overseeing the department's social media platforms and sports portal modifications.
- Budget Management: Collaborating with the HOD Sports Department to finalize and manage budgets based on departmental requirements.
- Facility Management: Supervising sports facilities, assigning daily duties, and conducting regular inspections for proper maintenance.
- Research and Analysis: Conducting research on sports wellness and recreation, providing insights, analyzing situations, and identifying areas of improvement.
- Communication and Reporting: Creating newsletters and video news for the Sports Office to ensure effective communication of sports highlights.
- Credit Course Management: Responsible for managing, planning, coordinating, and uploading courses/results on Zambeel.
- Team Management: Working with the team, assigning duties, and handling coaches and their programs.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensuring all sports activities and facilities adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Developing and maintaining relationships with students, faculty, alumni, and external partners.
- Programme Development: Developing and implementing new sports programs and initiatives to enhance student engagement and participation.
- Marketing and Promotion: Creating marketing strategies to promote sports events and activities, increasing visibility and participation.
- Training and Development: Providing training and development opportunities for team members and coaches to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Strategic Planning: Contributing to the strategic planning and development of the Sports Department, aligning with the overall goals of the institution.
- Student Support: Offering guidance and support to student-athletes, ensuring their academic and athletic needs are met.
