  • Meet annual performance targets set by the Head of Department.
  • Contribute to developing a high-quality teaching environment for students as per the University Dean/Principal's guidelines.
  • Teach assigned courses while adhering to faculty workload policies and promoting student engagement.
  • Enhance and refine your own teaching and learning skills, contributing to planning educational programs.
  • Employ innovative teaching strategies and facilitate experiential learning during lessons, fostering critical thinking and discourse.
  • Supervise student projects, field trips, and placements, providing guidance and support.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work and examinations, maintaining accurate records of academic performance.
  • Mentor 15-20 students under the Riphah Mentoring Program and update relevant data in VLE and other required software.
  • Embed Islamic and ethical values in teaching, participating in departmental and university committees as needed.
  • Ensure teaching content and methods align with RIU's mission and respond to issues related to subordinate needs and student welfare.
  • Monitor student attendance and conduct random checks of student presence in classes, labs, and practicals.
  • Contribute to research publications and disseminate findings using various media, seeking practical applications of research outcomes.
  • Carry out independent research, act as principal investigator and project leader, and supervise others' work in research teams and projects or as PhD supervisor when required.
