System Design Expert

We are seeking an experienced System Design Expert to join our team. As a System Design Expert, you will play a key role in ensuring the operability, usability, and maintainability of rolling stock.


Responsibilities:
  • Identify the operability context of rolling stock to be developed
  • Perform detailed analysis of source requirements within the operability context
  • Conduct HVAC and heat load calculations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to address gaps in operability analysis
  • Develop operational use case scenarios using methodologies like Day In The Life-cycle Of The Train (DITLOTT)
  • Verify operability analysis outcomes through modeling and simulation
  • Provide Return on Experience (RoE) to improve standard solutions
  • Support operability-related questions and deliver local trainings as needed

Requirements:
  • M.Tech/B.Tech from a recognized university
  • Experience or understanding of system engineering on large-scale projects
  • Knowledge of railway operability aspects such as operational environment, infrastructure, and users
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools like DOORS
  • A background in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Modelling Language (SysML)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites and cultures
  • Effective communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
