Telecommunications Network Manager

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of access telecommunications networks, including ensuring seamless maintenance and operation of power infrastructure. This includes managing technical issues related to PSTN, DSL, IPTV, and Flash Fiber within the respective domain.

Additionally, you will handle GPON-related issues while monitoring and enhancing the GPON Customer Happiness Index (CHI) across regions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Resolve technical issues in the telecommunications network.
  • Monitor, manage, and improve GPON-related issues.
  • Ensure uninterrupted supply of backup power for outdoor MSAGs by proactive maintenance and monitoring.
  • Swiftly mobilize maintenance teams in the event of faults, ensuring timely fault rectification and minimal downtime.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance routines on Access Network Elements (NEs).

In order to be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or a related field.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Sound understanding of switching, IP networking, transmission technologies, and GPON architecture.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications systems and protocols.
  • Ability to analyze and improve service KPIs, especially the GPON CHI.
  • Hands-on knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, including power plants, rectifiers, AC/DC power systems, and earthing.
  • Strong coordination skills with external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and databases.
  • Excellent communication, team management, conflict resolution, and time management skills.
