Plant Operations Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled Plant Operations Manager to oversee the efficient and environmentally responsible operation of our plant.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. The successful candidate will plan, direct, and control plant operations and maintenance, ensuring the safety of all personnel.
  2. They will lead efforts to identify root causes of operational problems and develop recommendations for resolution.
  3. This role involves administering effective preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  4. The ideal candidate will manage safe, efficient, and technically sound accomplishment of maintenance and repairs.
  5. Assistance in developing and executing operating budgets is also required.
  6. The Plant Operations Manager will review and continuously improve plant operating practices and procedures.
  7. They will schedule personnel to ensure safe, reliable 24/7/365 operation of the plant.
  8. This role entails developing and implementing local procedures related to safety, housekeeping, environmental compliance, maintenance, and system efficiency.
  9. The Plant Operations Manager will coordinate activities of outside contractors.
  10. They will review daily operating logs, reports, and data; investigate inconsistencies or apparent problems, address, and resolve them.
