Job Title: Legal Associate

A Legal Associate position is available in a reputable law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law and excellent research skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research on various issues relevant to the company's operations, including corporate law, employment law, intellectual property law, and contract law.
  • Prepare detailed project plans for all phases of the project, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, guaranteeing compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal issues, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Support the legal team in managing litigation and dispute resolution matters, including drafting pleadings, attending hearings, and liaising with external counsel.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the company's business activities and provide timely updates to the legal team, enabling proactive risk management.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, develop compliance policies and procedures, and provide training to employees, promoting a culture of accountability.
  • Manage corporate governance matters, including maintaining corporate records, drafting board resolutions, and facilitating corporate filings, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including finance, human resources, and operations, to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks, fostering a collaborative work environment.
