Operations Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Operations Manager. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Supervising daily market activities and verifying calculations related thereto.
  • Overseeing market operations activities such as setting new futures contracts, determining market timings, and establishing settlement calendars for deliverable contracts.
  • Distributing margin and exposure call notices to members.
  • Reconciling capital gain tax with regulatory bodies on a monthly basis and processing payments accordingly.
  • Reconciling capital gain processing charges and processing payments.
  • Maintaining accurate ledgers for members by reconciling their trading activity, margins, and cash balances on a daily basis.
  • Preparing an asset/liability reconciliation report on a monthly basis.
  • Compiling a monthly Management Information System (MIS) report for senior management.
  • Collaborating with managers to develop and document policies and standard operating procedures, while also implementing new procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

This is a highly skilled position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in market operations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
