Job Summary:

A strategic finance partner is needed to own financial planning models, analyze operational and commercial performance, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of Financial Planning Models includes collecting inputs from relevant stakeholders and ensuring outputs represent a coherent future view of business delivery.
  • Governance, review and execution of monthly commercial targets are owned by the Senior FP&A Analyst.
  • Qualitative analysis of operational and financial data ensures quality assurance in models.
  • Financial models are actualized on a monthly basis.
  • A wide range of data sources are organized and analyzed while interpreting and summarizing results.
  • Performance against the budget for each business and Daraz as a whole is managed and reported on deviations with stakeholders for resolution.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with commercial, marketing, data science and logistics teams identifies new business drivers, opportunities & efficiency gains, which are then materialized.
  • Financial reports are prepared for internal/ external use at the business unit/ entity/ department and Daraz level.
  • Budgets and forecasts are prepared with assistance from the Financial planning and performance manager.
  • Monthly reporting assistance is provided to operations and finance teams.
  • New reports / analysis required by the business are developed to support functional stakeholders.
  • Continuous improvement of planning processes involves gathering feedback from teams and understanding their needs.
