We are undertaking a Data Transformation and as data becomes fundamental to what we are doing, the ability to have the right data in the right place at the right time, that is accurate and consistent is essential.
As part of our team, you will play a central role in orchestrating and facilitating good delivery of data to the business. You will work closely with our Technology Team and Product Management to capture requirements for new data and solutions, and translate them into technical solutions that can be developed, tested, integrated and documented.

  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders and Solution Architects to understand business logic and translate it into requirements that inform solution strategy.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs and expectations.
  • Assist Sprint Managers in grooming and managing the team backlog as user stories with input from stakeholders.
  • Liaise with QA leads to ensure delivery is efficient and in line with business expectations.
  • Drive process improvement across the Business facing side of the Technology Team.
  • Share knowledge with the wider business and contribute to documenting processes and ways of working.
  • Communicate effectively to the business on status of items and blockers.
Requirements
  • Strong track record of business analysis within a technical environment.
  • Knowledge of Data Lake architecture and experience working in high-priority data projects.
  • Extensive expertise in breaking down problems/issues, documenting clearly in a format for stakeholders to easily understand and prioritise.
  • Able to collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholders including development teams and BA's.
  • Experience working in agile environments and driving process improvement.
  • Significant understanding of Lean methodologies and ability to design processes accordingly.
  • Understanding of big data projects and experience working with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to adjust message based on context.
  • Highly technical with a keen eye for detail.
  • Driven, self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Confident and able to challenge if necessary.
  • Structured and organised.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team and in a collaborative environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task and plan, organise and prioritise multiple projects.
  • Hands-on mentality and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Certified Product Owner (From Scrum.org / scrum alliance).
