Key Responsibilities

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled aircraft maintenance professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining aircraft in accordance with the approved maintenance schedule using approved methods and procedures.

This includes carrying out routine and non-routine maintenance of GF aircraft within scope of approval (A&C and Avionics) as applicable, as well as performing routine and non-routine maintenance on third-party aircraft for which the jobholder is holding type approval (A&C and Avionics) as applicable.

Additionally, the jobholder will ensure on-time departures of these aircraft upon completion of relevant routine scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks.

Other key responsibilities include accompanying aircraft for routine and non-routine maintenance to meet schedule changes at short notice, traveling for aircraft recovery during AOG situations, and performing pre-departure checks for GF and other third parties.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  1. Aircraft Engineer License recognized by Authority and Gulf Air Technical Quality Department, with experience on at least one aircraft type.
  2. Five years' experience in aircraft maintenance, with three years as a certifying engineer.
