About this Role

This critical team member will drive spend management, build insightful reports, and develop essential strategies to support stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain annual/quarterly/monthly budgets and forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Lead cost optimization initiatives and contribute to strategic financial planning processes.
  • Implement expenditure controls to manage spend against allocated budgets for different functions.
  • Design systems and dashboards to enhance visibility and control over financial spends, supporting decision-making processes.
  • Identify and communicate discrepancies or anomalies in spend tracking to Business Leaders and the FP&A function.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine and enhance financial systems and processes.
  • Work with the accounting team to ensure accurate month-end book closure and financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees like MBA, ACCA, or CFA are highly preferred.
  • 5-6 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to gathering insights and data.
  • Excellent quantitative skills to solve complex problems.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on and ownership-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerBI, Redash, and SQL.
