Job Title

A Quality Assurance Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of quality services within an organization.

  • This position is responsible for establishing and implementing quality management systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as ISO 9001:2015 and JCI accreditation standards.
  • The specialist will review and improve hospital policies, procedures, and processes to streamline workflows and enhance quality control.
  • A key responsibility of this role is to establish and maintain the Quality Manual (QM) and Quality System Procedures (QSP) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • The Quality Assurance Specialist will also coordinate and provide guidelines for the development of quality objectives and performance indicators as per ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Maintenance of quality management system documentation and records is essential in this position.
  • The specialist will participate in planning, development, coordination, and presentation of specific trainings and educational programs as assigned by the Director/Principal.
  • Guidelines will be provided to all hospitals under IRHIS domain regarding quality implementation.
  • Design, scheduling, and conducting quality review audits are tasks that require attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Scheduling and preparing MRM/Internal & External quality audits as per ISO 9001:2015 requirements are additional responsibilities.
  • Root cause analysis of incidents/non-compliances & observations of internal/external audit will be conducted under supervision of Assistant Director/Senior Manager.
  • Maintaining a check on quality management systems through quality assignments is crucial.
  • Frequent monitoring and reporting of non-compliances/observations to Director/Principal are vital.
  • Data analysis of Quality activities in different Hospitals under IRHIS domain requires attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • A review timeline for pertinent quality of care issues must be developed.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of personal and organizational information at all times, in line with Riphah University information governance requirements, is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Good command of computer/MS Office.
  • Able to cope with stress and handle multiple assignments.
  • Capable of meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient knowledge of Quality Management/ISO/JCI accreditation process.
