Lead Vice President of Asset Management Operations

A senior leadership position with a focus on delivering exceptional services to institutional clients as the Vice President of Asset Owner Operation Service Delivery.

About the Role

This role involves overseeing the management and resolution of client issues, ensuring seamless service delivery, and collaborating with technology, operations, and product teams to drive process improvements and strategic directions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Lead a team as the primary contact for client queries and issues, providing top-tier services and communicating status updates effectively.
  • Global Operating Model Management: Manage the global distributed operating model, handle daily BAU query management and resolution, and coordinate client-requested changes to the operating model and reporting.
  • Collaboration and Strategic Direction: Collaborate with technology, operations, and stakeholders to identify process improvements and strategic directions, driving business growth and success.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Leadership Experience: Over 10 years of experience in Operations, with strong technical skills, including accounting principles and theories.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Knowledge of GAAP Accounting and Fund Accounting for institutional clients, with proficiency in analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Cultural Fit: Ability to work effectively in a global environment and matrix organization, with excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills for building collaborative relationships.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of retirement accounts such as Pension, 401K, VEBA, and proficiency in accounting deliverables for Fund Accounting, Plan Level, and Regulatory Reporting. They will be able to advise clients on accounting matters and best practices, ensuring successful delivery of all ad hoc client reports and support audit and regulatory queries.
