The Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health has ten community-based field sites across Pakistan, focusing on research for betterment of women and child health.

This is a grant-funded contractual position. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting interviews and writing up detailed notes, as well as managing fieldwork and processes to ensure effective use of time.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct independent interviews and record detailed observations.
  2. Manage field operations and optimize resource utilization.
  3. Facilitate meetings among the research team and junior staff members.
  4. Develop and conduct training sessions for new junior staff in research and interviewing skills.
  5. Liaise with administrative personnel regarding logistics for fieldwork.
  6. Develop project-related activity guidelines and provide wider community awareness on Child Health issues.
  7. Ensure field implementation of project SOPs and guidelines.
Requirements

Candidates should possess:

  1. A Graduation or Master's Degree.
  2. One to two years of relevant experience.
  3. Sensitivity to cultural differences.
  4. Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
  5. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  6. Resilience and ability to cope with work pressure.
