Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Agricultural Territory Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting farmers in producing high-quality seed and crop-stock that meets international standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with growers and management teams.

Responsibilities
  • Crop monitoring and data extraction from assigned growers on a weekly basis.
  • Data validation of assigned interns through combined visits and site assessments.
  • Farm advisory services and adoption of best agricultural practices in the field.
  • Providing visibility of crop performance to management and recommending corrective actions to growers.
  • Configuration of SmartAGRO devices and master data creation and maintenance.
  • Supporting regional managers in variety trials, evaluation, and research initiatives.
  • New area development to extend the fresh window for continuous potato supply and reduce reliance on storage.
  • Training and capacity building for field teams and farmers staff on crop best practices.
  • Utilizing agro machinery and field operation solutions for cost-effective and quality management.
  • Managing specific potato projects and programs under direction.
  • Assisting regional managers in procurement activities.
  • Field testing, data collection, and grower complaint handling.
  • Implementation of Sustainable Farming Practices (SFP) agenda for assigned growers with certification.
Requirements
  • Agriculture Graduate or Master's Degree in Production Sciences i.e., PBG, Agronomy & Plant Science, Soil sciences, and Horticulture.
  • Knowledge of potato growing areas, farmers, and crop management.
  • Technical expertise in pest control and management.
  • Fluency in English and local languages.
  • Strong analytical skills and result-oriented mindset.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of supervisory experience in agribusiness.
